VAJIR PINNACLE CLIMBING

Vajir Pinnacle is located on the south side of the Mahuli Fort.

Mahuli Fort At 2815 ft., this is a popular trekking destination and a paradise for rock-climbers because of many nearby pinnacles with interesting names like Vazir, Vishnu, etc., given by the local trekking and climbing fraternity. This mountain complex is actually a group of two or more hills with common cols and pinnacles.

 

It is the highest point in the Thane district. The forest surrounding Mahuli has been declared as a sanctuary. Once Shahaji Raje, father of Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, had this fortress under his belt. The fort has been declared a protected monument.

​Day 1:

11.00 pm Bus Departure from Pune/Mumbai and Pick up Will Start

​

Day 2:

03.00 am Reach base village wandre

04:30 am breakfast will be serve

05.00 am start trek towards Vajir base 

07.30 am Reach at Vajir Base, Set base camp. ​

08.00 am Activity starts (Climbing)

01.30 pm Summit of all members.

3.30 pm Start for windup and return to the Base village Vandre and lunch

5.30 pm departure to pune/mumbai
